Food for All, Room for All

Welcome to a new blog for discussing food and ag-related issues. I am extremely thrilled to get to be the “hostess” for discussions here. I look forward to learning heaps and being a facilitator for a healthy exchange of ideas.

I’ll tell y’all a bit about myself later. Right now I want to let everyone know my aspirations for this space.

One of my favorite T-shirts has a quote from the Dalai Lama. “Every faith has a piece of the truth.” My personal feeling is that every opinion has a piece of the truth. The corollary is that no opinion has the whole truth. There are usually far more than two sides to any issue, especially when it comes to food production, food choices, health, environment and economics.

I hope you make this the place to come for answers about food and farming. I also hope you question what you see, hear and read here. The bloggers may bring some surprising information about issues that appear on the surface to be simple. For my part, as editor, I promise to help keep the facts as accurate as possible.
